Save the date for the second annual Philly Photo Day, coming up on October 28th. On Philly Photo Day PPAC invites everyone in the city to take a picture. The picture can be of anything, as long as it's taken within the city limits between 12am and 11:59pm.
You'll have a few days to pick your best photo and upload it to PPAC's website. (We'll give you more instructions about uploading later.) Then we will print and hang every single picture for a unique exhibition of a day in the life of Philadelphia. The opening reception will take place on November 10th. Last year we received 325 photos. This year we expect to double that!
So save the date and plan to participate on October 28th. But don't forget, it takes a lot of money to produce Philly Photo Day. That's why I hope you will support PPAC's Kickstarter Campaign. The minimum donation is just $1 and you get great incentives starting at $10.
PPAC has set a goal of raising $3,500 by September 25th. More than $2,600 has already been pledged! But the catch is that we have to raise at least $3,500 or we don't get a single dollar. Can you make a donation today to help us close the gap? Check out the Philly Photo Day Kickstarter campaign here:
